  • The Temple Office is open from 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM Monday - Friday.
Sponsoring an Oneg Shabbt on Friday night or Kiddush on Saturday morning is a wonderful way to commemorate a birthday, a Yahrtzeit or other special event with your fellow congregants, friends and family, or you can sponsor for no occasion at all.

To sponsor an Oneg Shabbat or a Kiddush, E-mail the Temple office at temple@templeemanuelsi.org. An E-Mail will be sent back stating if the Oneg or Kiddush has been added to the calendar or if there is already a sponsor for that date. If you do not have E-mail, please call the Temple office and speak to the Office Manager; a post card confirmation will be sent instead of an email. Verbal requests will not be put on the calendar.
  • SUNDAY NOVEMBER 5 IS OUR ANNUAL AFFAIR!!! Our Honorees this year are Rabbi & Rebbitzen Sussman. Please help us to honor them for the 35th anniversary of their service to the Temple and the community at large!

The Dinner and Journal are our biggest fundraisers. Invitations will be mailed shortly. Click here for a copy of our Journal Advertising Contract. Please ask your friends, neighbors and your local merchants to place an ad. All businesses are welcome to place an ad!

  • The Temple is on Facebook - The group is called "Congregation Temple Emanu-El of Staten Island" and has over 200 people in it. Current Temple members, Hebrew school students, former members and Hebrew school alumni are a part of this group. Weekly announcements posted include upcoming events at Temple Emanu-El and Staten Island Jewish Community news. It’s also a great way to keep in touch with friends from the Temple. If you or someone from your family is on Facebook, come, join the group and “Like Us”!
